Have A Question?
Q: What is your studio environment like? What should I expect when I arrive?
A: Tucked away inside a secure building perched high above the vibrant streets of Seattle’s bustling Fremont neighborhood, Sunbreak Massage is a soothing practice space designed for restorative work. The Saturn Building is conveniently located across from PCC and the Fremont Rocket, offers free visitor parking, and is easily accessible from Wallingford, Green Lake, Queen Anne, Phinney Ridge, Ballard, Magnolia, Laurelhurst, Montlake, South Lake Union, and Eastlake.
You’ll receive building-access info via email the day before your session. Be sure to read that email carefully for info on how to prepare.
On the day of your appointment, you’ll be welcomed into a warm, calm, shoe-free space designed for deeply relaxing sessions, including Tech-Neck Tamer Massages, Reset+Recover (Craniosacral Therapy) Sessions, and Roll+Release Self-Massage Tutorials.
Q: What types of sessions do you offer?
A: Jennifer offers:
Reset+Recover (Craniosacral Therapy) Sessions
Tech-Neck Tamer Massages
Roll+Release Self-Massage Tutorials (Upper Body, Mid Body, Lower Body)
Calming Yoga Sessions (one-on-one)
Returning clients who worked with Jennifer between Sept. 2023 and Sept. 2025 may log into Noterro to view the full menu of legacy massage services.
Q: What is the difference between Reset+Recover, Tech-Neck Tamer, and Roll+Release?
Reset+Recover (Craniosacral Therapy): Gentle, fully clothed, oil-free sessions that support the nervous system and release chronic tension patterns from your fascia.
Tech-Neck Tamer Massage: A focused 45-minute massage for your neck, shoulders, face, jaw, arms, hands, and upper chest — ideal for desk workers and anyone with tension headaches or tech-neck symptoms.
Roll+Release Tutorials: Guided, one-on-one self-massage sessions using yoga therapy balls to improve mobility, posture, and athletic recovery; you learn techniques you can do anywhere.
Q: I’m fairly active, fit, and healthy overall. Why should I try a Reset+Recover Craniosacral Therapy Session?
A: One major desire among Jennifer’s clients is to dissolve stress and tension and feel better in their bodies. In today’s world, stress is pervasive and affects even those who otherwise feel healthy and fit. And, unfortunately, no amount of exercise can completely cancel out the effects of frequent sitting and/or screen time.
You may find great benefit in balancing your time spent working, caring for family and pets, and enjoying hobbies + activities with restorative, effective Reset+Recover sessions that help you dissolve stress, get out of your head and in touch with your body, and soothe and facilitate your body’s natural repair process while liberating fascial restrictions.
Reset+Recover clients often experience a profound sense of relaxation, mental clarity, restored balance, and ease.
Of course, the number one reason you should schedule a Reset+Recover appointment with Jennifer is because you want to!
Q: I am dealing with chronic conditions or an old injury. Do you offer appointment options for me, too?
A: Jennifer has extensive experience working with old injuries and chronic conditions; however, massage, self-massage and/or craniosacral therapy (CST) may be contraindicated in the case of a more recent, acute injury like a broken bone, dislocated joint, ligament sprain, muscle strain or tear, surgical incision, etc., as well as in the presence of recent strokes, whiplash, and other specific conditions.
You will have the opportunity to share your health history with Jennifer via your intake forms upon scheduling an appointment, and together, you and Jennifer can determine any areas or treatments to avoid prior to your session. When in doubt, please consult your primary healthcare provider (PCP, ND, MD, or another medical professional you trust) for approval and/or answers to your questions regarding the appropriateness of massage and/or CST for you and your individual body.
Massage and/or craniosacral therapy may be contraindicated for some chronic or acute conditions, illnesses, injuries, and/or stages of healing. You know your body best, and your primary healthcare provider can give you a diagnosis to help you determine if massage or CST is right for you at this time.
It is outside a massage therapist’s scope of practice to diagnose; however, with your doctor’s diagnosis in hand, you may check in with Jennifer to see which of her offerings might be the best fit for where you currently are in your healing journey.
Q: What is your mask policy?
A: Masking is optional for all services. You’re encouraged to mask if you have allergies, mild respiratory symptoms, or a sick family member or roommate at home. Your cooperation helps this local small business (and our entire Sunbreak community) remain happy, healthy, and operational. Thank you!
Jennifer typically masks during most appointments due to chronic conditions and builds in extra time between appointments to properly ventilate the room and disinfect all equipment used during each session.
Q: What should I do if I’m sick or have symptoms?
A: Please do not come in with cold, flu, COVID-19, or other contagious symptoms.
Receiving massage or craniosacral therapy and/or practicing yoga or self massage when you’re sick not only spreads the illness to others, but it can also exacerbate and extend the duration of your symptoms.
You always have up until 24 hours prior to the start of your session to cancel or reschedule online using the links in your appointment confirmation email; for last-minute schedule changes, please text Jennifer directly via the message-only studio line at (206) 657-6399.
Q: How do I schedule an appointment?
A: New clients may book Reset+Recover Sessions, Tech-Neck Tamer Massages, Roll+Release Tutorials, or Calming Yoga using the online scheduler linked at the bottom of this page.
Returning clients who worked with Jennifer between Sept. 2023 and Sept. 2025 may log into Noterro to view the full menu of legacy massage services, including 90-minute sessions, in addition to the offerings mentioned above.
Q: Can I book via text, phone, or email?
A: No. Because Jennifer’s sessions call for deep presence with each of her clients throughout the day, all appointments must be booked online.
Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: No. Sunbreak Massage is not in-network with any insurance companies and cannot provide superbills.
Payment options include Venmo, credit card, cash, or (provided your confirm your company’s massage coverage beforehand) HSA and FSA cards.
You will use a credit card to reserve (but not pay for) your session when scheduling online. Please bring your payment method of choice with you to each appointment.
Q: What are your fees? Do you accept tips?
Tech-Neck Tamer Massage: $99
Reset+Recover (Craniosacral Therapy Sessions): $155
Roll+Release Self-Massage Tutorials (One Person, One Hour): $111
Calming Yoga Sessions (One Person, One Hour): $111
Tips are optional but appreciated. Payment is due before or during your appointment. Some clients choose to pay at the end of their sessions; others prefer to pay at the beginning, so they can just relax after their sessions.
Q: What studio policies should I review before coming in?
New clients must submit intake forms at least 48 hours before their first appointment.
Returning clients will need to update their intake paperwork every 12 months. You will be notified via email and/or text when it is time to resubmit your paperwork.
Sunbreak Massage is unable to offer refunds.
24-hour cancellation policy (late cancellations incur the full session fee); more notice is appreciated!
Sunbreak Massage maintains an active waitlist for clients awaiting an appointment. Should you need to cancel, miss, or reschedule your session, your advance notice allows another client to book into your spot. Thank you for your cooperation!
Please arrive on time; late arrivals may receive shorter sessions.
As a healthcare-oriented practice, Sunbreak Massage observes HIPAA compliance standards as well as all applicable state and federal laws and will take the appropriate measures to ensure your privacy and safety at all times.
