Jennifer’s Story
After battling neck and shoulder tension, desk hunch, eye strain, wrist pain, TMJ dysfunction, migraines and tension headaches, and other tech-neck-related symptoms for nearly a decade in her fast-paced but sedentary publishing career, Jennifer made it her life’s mission to support people experiencing the detrimental effects of prolonged computer and desk work.
She spent the ensuing years studying functional anatomy and kinesiology, myofascial release, postural alignment and movement practices, yoga therapy ball work, mindfulness, breathwork, and other supports for the tangible and spiritual bodies, with particular attention paid to methods that soothe the upper body (head, neck, shoulders, arms, wrists, fingers, upper back, and chest), as well as the frazzled nervous system as a whole.
These days, Jennifer still works as a freelance proofreader and copy editor, but she has learned to balance screen time with sit/stand breaks, better ergonomics and postural supports, and a healthier, more active lifestyle. For massage sessions, she is currently seeing returning clients and those with a direct referral only in her sunlit studio in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. For her current clients (and new clients with a direct referral), Jennifer brings to the table a variety of tension-taming offerings, including Therapeutic Relaxation Massage, Cupping, and Hot Stones. Each of these offerings is designed to support you to drop into your breath + body, let go of tension, and begin to feel better.
No referral? No problem… For both current and new clients, Jennifer offers Roll+Release Self-Massage tutorials utilizing yoga therapy balls to release myofascial tightness and tension.
Upon working with Jennifer, clients have reported decreased muscle tightness, reduced stress, increased focus, improved movement + range of motion (ROM), a holistic sense of wellbeing, better posture, the ability to breathe more fully and deeply, and enhanced performance in all facets of life.

“I wanted to thank you for the massage. Yesterday I climbed as hard as I did prior to injury and it felt great. This was also after climbing on Friday, so my muscles should have been more fatigued, but they weren’t. I’m so delighted!”
“Jennifer’s touch is intuitive and healing. I left that table much more relaxed and look forward to future sessions!”
“I highly recommend Jennifer, especially if you want effective work that is also gentle. She has this amazing touch that feels so pleasant and soothing, it can be surprising how completely she really is getting those muscles to release! If you shy away from deep tissue work, you will absolutely love her. Her hands listen, and so does her heart.”
