Jennifer’s Story
After battling neck and shoulder tension, desk hunch, eye strain, headaches, and other tech-neck-related symptoms for nearly a decade in her fast-paced but sedentary publishing career, Jennifer made it her life’s mission to support people experiencing the detrimental effects of prolonged computer and desk work.
She spent the ensuing years studying functional anatomy and kinesiology, myofascial release, postural alignment and movement practices, yoga therapy ball work, mindfulness, breathwork, trauma-informed approaches, and other supports for chronically tense bodies.
Most recently, Jennifer completed her training and certification in craniosacral therapy (CST), a gentle, fully clothed technique that helps release tension from the nervous system and fascia using primarily light touch and consistently deep presence. Now available to both new and returning clients, Jennifer’s Reset+Recover craniosacral therapy sessions aim to deliver relief from long-held tension patterns (especially neck pain and low back pain), headaches, chronic fatigue, tech neck, nervous system overwhelm, and more — bringing about deep relaxation, mental clarity, and a renewed sense of balance in the body.
These days, Jennifer still works as a professional proofreader and copy editor, but she has learned to balance intensive screen time with sit/stand breaks, better ergonomics and postural supports, and a healthier, more active lifestyle. When she encounters muscle tension, movement restrictions, stress and/or fatigue, she now has a vast toolkit of self-care approaches to support recovery. Among her favorites to share with clients is Roll+Release, a guided self-massage tutorial that utilizes yoga therapy balls to effectively and efficiently release myofascial tightness and tension.
For those seeking a quick weekday reset, a client favorite is the Tech-Neck Tamer Massage, which targets tension from the arms + shoulders on up. Even new-client appointments (which include a brief intake) wrap up within an hour — ideal for anyone who wants meaningful relief without having to rearrange their entire day.
Regardless of appointment type, each session is designed to support you to drop into your breath + body and let go of tension so you can get back to doing what you do best.
Upon working with Jennifer, clients have reported decreased muscle tightness, reduced stress, increased focus, improved posture + range of motion (ROM), better sleep, the ability to breathe more fully and deeply, a holistic sense of wellbeing, and enhanced performance in all facets of life.

TESTIMONIALS
“Jennifer’s craniosacral work is amazing. If you’re not familiar with craniosacral, give it a try. I went in with high stress, neck stiffness, a headache, and some lower back pain. I didn’t expect Jennifer to be able to address everything with just craniosacral work, but I was wrong.
Since receiving this work from her, I’ve been more calm and had less brain fog than usual, plus I slept so deeply that I woke up feeling refreshed, even after a shorter sleep than usual. I also have more rotation/range of motion in my neck, the clicking that’s usually there from a whiplash injury is gone, and my headache is gone. And my lower back, which has been fussy and tight for decades because of various accidents, abdominal surgeries, and injuries, feels mobile and relaxed and pain-free.
I just booked more Reset+Recover sessions with her, and I can’t wait for my next one! Highly recommend!”
“After every session, I feel like I just came back from a meditative retreat.”
“First time trying cranial sacral therapy, and I would describe it as a grounding body meditation. Jennifer was very thoughtful in preparing for the appointment, discussing my needs and experiences, and educational about the technique. Highly recommend!”
“Jennifer is extremely comprehensive in her intake process, which includes getting to know your specific injuries, pain points, health history, even temperature and music preferences. Her intuitive approach to releasing tension in effective yet sustainable ways is much appreciated. Highest possible recommendation!”
“I highly recommend Jennifer, especially if you want effective work that is also gentle. She has this amazing touch that feels so pleasant and soothing, it can be surprising how completely she really is getting things to release! If you shy away from deep tissue work, you will absolutely love her. Her hands listen, and so does her heart.”
“Jennifer has a magic touch! She is very intuitive and has the gift of tuning into your body to move the tissues and fascia just the right way to relieve pain and tension. Even my migraine was gone after she worked on my neck!”
